Recommended Workflow

• Confirm whether the domain uses private nameservers, provider nameservers, or an external DNS service.
• Review A, AAAA, MX, TXT, and CNAME records before making changes.
• Reduce TTL only when a planned migration or cutover requires faster propagation.
• Keep a copy of the previous zone file before high-risk edits.

Verification

After saving changes, check both authoritative records and public resolution results. This avoids confusing cached results with the actual state of the zone.
